The Pursuit series depicts bodyless characters who are floating in a void, performing distinct activities. They run, jumps, meet and drink or stare at their missing face in a bathroom mirror. 

 

Although we can identify their gender and age group through the way they dress, like the “Invisible Man”, they remain a mystery, a hollow shell which is meant to trigger the viewer's curiosity and imagination. They look familiar but who are they?

 

With no context, these characters become solely and intensely involved in their mundane acts, frozen in their pursuit. Like a dream, the blank space intents to be a mental place, a pause, to allow our pursuit of identity.
